When did I fall in love with science?

This is a blog I am writing on a friend's birthday. In a sense since I am visiting my blogspot after nearly a year, it is the birth of a new era for me too... for in the meantime I have discovered a love - of science... This leads me to question:

When did I fall in love with science?
When an equation balanced itself?
When I saw golden spangles in a test tube?
When I learned with a friend about warped space and black holes?
When I read Stephen Hawking's arrow of time chapter on a train to my Phd interview?
When something I had mugged up all the years suddenly snapped right in my brain?
Or when I saw Saturn and its rings through a telescope at a Tamil Nadu Science Forum camp? ---

Describing my love for science is like the proverbial blindfolded people trying to describe an elephant --- It is a complex entity and any love for it has to be complex -- or a complex ---

But I would bet on the last happening - that is, "seeing" Saturn, as a definitive happening, and the rest as muddled infatuation....
